Update.

Official LiveJournal Decree

To all of those who've ever read my live journal, first off, I'd like to extend this apology. I'm quite aware that I've not updated in a good while (I am aware thanks to a certain someone's constant pestering, though I will not name names...*cough*baxter*cough*), and for those who've spent their boredum away by reading about my complaints or joys, I am deeply sorry. It is in this decree, though that I shall let all of you know that I doubt I'll ever be getting around to updating in this livejournal ever again.
It has come to my attention that livejournals are quote,'emo' in all that they stand for. I have tended in the past to steer away from such emo-fancies...but alas they've begun to take me over apparently. It has been noted that I wear eyeliner on occasion...and even own a pair of converses (or as the emo population would consider, "Chucks"). It is on these terms that I shall no longer be writing here. In attempting to further distance myself from the emos (who've known to attack at random with various whiney songs and outbursts of tears...not to mention the ripping of their overly tight pants and poisonings from their cheap black hair dyes...*official sort of cough*), I shall continue to wear my converse sneakers as well as the eyeliner (which, in my case happens to be brown, not black. Therefore not emo.)

On various occasion, I may return here to write, post poems(not emo poems, mind you), stories, or just randomly type Bob Dole just for the sake of the Dole. But here and now, I am stopping. Sorry to my friends, sorry to my fans (ha...fans...), and sorry to the population of emos living in Lexington County. I hope this doesn't make you feel any worse...and as my closing statement, I would just like to say....:

Cheer up, emo kids.

Fairwell LJ~

A me

*in nasily voice*Hullo everyone...It's that time again... ((sound familiar? you guessed it...its that craaaaaaaazy lady who does the afternoon announcements every day! as caitlin can vouch for me...i have gotten this saying down perfectly...from everything to the subtle nuances of naisilyness in her voice...to each exact word. but don't worry, you probably can't do it. its just because i'm great like that.))

mmk...well sad to say theres not much interesting content thats gonna go into todays entry. first block was boring...as drivers ed always is. i listened to mason jennings and wrote notes...or only really one because i think i dosed off for a bit. english was incredibly humorous. we're reading the play "Macbeth" and i had to read the part of Lady Macduff today...and she says all these funny lines like,'Why did my husband go and leave his wife and babes at home alone to frolick with all the electrical devices and squirell hunting equipment...' (its desputed whether or not shakespeare wrote that particular line...though the reasons are subtle and hardly debatable *cough*) anyway, needless to say i was seriously cracking up. ahaha, and then came the part of the "bloooooody baaaaaby" which mrs stabler read in a most convincing voice. i mean...if i were walking down a dark alley and i heard that voice...i would certainly think it was a blood covered infant. orchestra was alright. we're playing a really nifty song in there called "the waltz of the wicked" and it sounds like some tune from harry potter or something *chuckle* ~M~ ...its the day after my birthday...which means 13 days...12 days til my birthday X_x hahahaha

*yawn* lunch was alright. journalism was alright. apush was flat out sleep inducing...well besides the fact that my teacher has a very annoying naisily snorty sniff sort of thing that she does often and as i'm sure a few of you will be able to associate it with...just imagine the sound of a certain...goo-y person...*cough*

now i'm home. bored. tired. nothing to do. lost my motivation to write anymore.

later bizzles

comment!

-a me

Wow...I feel like this entry is going to be some kind of big let down to all my fans (*snort*..."fans"...= the people who are so bored they don't have anything better to be doing than reading about my dumb life o_o)...but I'll try to make it jazzy just for you.

Lets see...last night I stayed on the computer entirely too late...for me anywho. see guys, i have these insomniatic tendencies...so i was online kinda late...well i snuck on of course :-o *figured out how to make it so my mommy couldn't see i was on*...and yeah...it kind of didn't go well after that...haha, yeah...i was up til 11:30 ish then i was wiiiiide awake and although i wasn't online any longer...i was up just listening to music and looking around my room for quite a bit of time prior...hense my waking up at about 7:20 this morning and getting to school after the bell rang. feh.

So i get to school just as the second or third bell is ringing and i have to sprint down the hall to some classroom in f wing or something that i've never been to and its full of these crazy sophomores...and i sit down and have to take the dumb PSAT. it was ok...i mean...i think i did well on the english part and what not, but then when it came to the math...ha. don't even kid yourself folks...amy and math don't mix...i mean, seriously. even if you stuck me and math into some big blender...it still wouldn't work. o_o ANNNYYWAYS, yeah, after the PSAT i went to orchestra. not really interesting. carrie, i agree with you, it is quite odd on how short ms neely is...i mean, each time i see her i just want to ask her how the lolly pop guild is going...*chuckle*

LUnch was interesting...journalism was boring...as was APUSH...which i know to all of yall thats disheartening...but its true. Mrs hellams was having one of those ,'hey lemme lecture at you til your ears fall off days'(which frankly is like every other day of the week) and so i decided doodling instead of interviewing was my best escape. Although i must say i had an entertaining time after she finished lecturing. for about the last half of the block she made us read all this crap out of our book, and we all know that amy has a very demanding appetite. considering that amy (why am i talking in third person again?) decided to buy the greasy school lunch today, the bag of lunch i'd brought with me to school was still stuffed down in the bottom of my bag. figuring it was an oppourtune time to eat, i pulled out my doritoes and box of chocolate milk........

[for all of you who don't know, yes, i have boxes of chocolate milk. in cardboard. infact, i have a whole drawer in my kitchen devoted to these boxes of chocolate milk. *cough* indeed.]

........anyway, i was really hungry so i tried to open up the bag of doritoes...but of course it was litterally dead silent in there so all you hear is this :

~silence...silence...silence...someone coughs...more silence...CRACKLE CRACKLE CRACKLE...dead silence upon amy's realization that opening the chip bag was really really loud...~

I managed to open up the fiend finally and eat the chips...needless to say they were quite crunchy so everyone could hear me eating them...then the chocolate milk makes this insane slirpy noise after you take a drink of it...but i didn't get caught, by my teacher anywho, so i suppose i deem that mission...possible.

...so yeah. that was my day pretty much. when i got home, i receieved some terrible news...which goes as follows:

Matthew (4:49:01 PM): Hey
Amy(4:49:05 PM): heey
Matthew (4:51:48 PM): The albatros is massaging a porpoise with cheese, this is not a drill!
Amy (4:52:08 PM): o_o
Amy (4:52:10 PM): ...
Amy(4:52:13 PM): ok
Amy (4:52:29 PM): don't scare me like that, man...last time you said "this is not a drill" to that...there were really were albatroses...
Matthew (4:53:28 PM): AH YES. The vivid albatros storm of '98. Little Jimmy was carried off that fateful day.
Amy (4:53:46 PM): ...
Amy (4:53:50 PM): ok ok, now you've gone too far
Amy (4:53:57 PM): i thought we agreed never to talk about that anymore...
Matthew (4:55:04 PM): Very well. Never again!
Amy(4:55:49 PM): ...*sigh*...well...um...now that we're on that topic
Amy (4:55:55 PM): tell me the story of that attack in '98...
Amy (4:56:06 PM): i need to clense my memory...:-\
Matthew(4:58:25 PM): Well. My dad and I were on the way to the store to get rather large asparagus and assorted balloons, when a large descending bird swooped down out of no where, picked us up in the talons of death and hurled us to our doom... in the McDonald's ballpit.
Amy (4:59:11 PM): ...

the devistating nature of the story stops about there...so i won't continue. i just thought i'd let everyone know that today is the anniversary of that fateful day in '98...i ask that you please bow your heads in silence for a moment....

mmk, well i'm done ranting for the afternoon. i'll probably come back and update some more later, you bunch of bizzles...

birthday in 13 days!

a me

...just apush...

ok ok...so i know you're all just dyyyyying to know what happened to me today...but i'm going to with-hold that tantalizing information and just focus in on the juicy bits of my day. AP US History. Ok ok ok, so i know you're all wondering just whats so great about said apush class...but thats why i'm here, silly billys! to tell you the ~magic~ that lies behind such a wonderful...magnificent...learning-filled (*cough*) class.

Well i'll begin my captivating story with a little bit about a member of said apush class (because i told him that i would...after all, you become imortally famous once you've been in my lj ^^). Brice Reynolds. We all know Brice by his big poofy hair...which i've been told can store lizards (although i wasn't really there when said lizard occupied said hair.) he's that lovable kid who brought the toaster to school...shed new light on the emo kids cause by offering them tastey poptarts after school. yes, folks...Brice Reynolds is amazing...but whats the real story behind it all? I have a few interview questions which will quickly answer that.

Me: "I'm going to touch on a subject that we all have been concerned about lately. Tell us, Brice...what are your feelings about flying fish?"
Brice: "Flying fish, you say? Well, it's all horrible lies. They don't fly, they just glide. I bet the'd be tastey, though..."

Me: "Alright. So, another controversial topic we've been eager to hear your opinion on. Stewed vegetables? Do you think they have a place in this world?"
Brice: "Not at all. Stewed vegetables are all mushy. No body ever pays attention to mushy things. That's why when someone melts, we just bury them and forget it."

Me: "Brice, you're from the south. You know up north they say pop right? Tell me your comments on said 'pop'..."
Brice: "Pop is dumb. Soda is ok I guess, and then again you can't just say 'Coke' because theres all sorts of other kinds of drinks too. Soda is ok, but definitely not 'pop'. 'Pop' sounds upity."

I took the liberty to ask one of our classmates, Caitlin the Russian, what she thought about Brice. She responded...

Caitlin: "Well...his hair is great. It's awesome, it rocks my socks off. He doesn't like shopping but he enjoys Italian sodas and that's cool."

While I was speaking to Caitlin, we kind of got off topic of Brice (sorry Brice) and moved on to other things. My first question to her was concerning the whole Pop thing and the North. She answered...

"'Pop' is weird. It sounds like you're going to go pop a balloon or pop somebody in the head. Northern people are cool...but they just talk weird!"

Me: "Many people don't really know this answer, but I must ask...where in the world is Carmen Sandiego?"
Caitlin: "My toilet!"

Me: "Why does Bob Dole repeat his name [in Family Guy]? And why are there always 10 bats [with the Count on Seasame Street]?"
Caitlin: "That's the cool thing to do to...and because 10 is the unlonliest number!"

Me: "Elaborate on your feelings about the 10 bats."
Caitlin: "Well, there aren't 9 bats and there certainly aren't 11 bats, just 10. I can't count any higher anyways..."

Me: "Why is there a bunny on your pencil? What was its previous occupation?" [for all who don't know...there is a hideously deformed bunny on the end of her pencil...nah, just joshin ya...its rather cute really...]
Caitlin: "I woke up and it was just there one day! It was either a stripper, Russian, or from the Excorcist."

Me: "Why Russia? Elaborate."
Caitlin: "Well, when it began to talk to me I whipped out my '500 First Words in Russian' book from Chick-fil-a and realized it was speaking Russian. RUSSIA!"

Me: "So what do you think when you hear the word filabuster?"
Caitlin: "Umm...a furry little critter with antenaes and little beady black eyes. Darn those crazy filabusters!"

[Each day in our APUSH class, there is a 'word of the day' written up on the board. Today's word happened to be 'gannet'...which is defined as a large fish eating marine bird. It was around this time that I noticed this...so I inquired of Caitlin...]

Me: "Why is your name gannet?"
Caitlin: "BECAUSE! You gotta problem with it? Bring it! ALBATROSSES ON THE LOOSE."

[I think it is also pertinent to add that we consider bears to technically be 'brrs'...they steal your soul by the way...]

Me: "what time do the brrrs usually attack? What are your feelings on this matter?"
Caitlin: "I'd say 8:35 and 20 seconds. It's a bit late but I can live with it."

Me: "what happens when they come? How can you relate to this?"
Caitlin: "They shave poodles and hurt used car salesmen. Well, see...I have this friend who turns into a naked poodle sometimes..."

Me: "How do you feel about that?"
Caitlin: "Naked poodles are okay...but a bit dangerous if you ask me. Which you did. And I lock m y door when my friend becomes a naked poodle."

[As this interview was occurring, our class was rapped up in a fierce debate on whether Alexander Hamilton or Thomas Jefferson were right. I took this opportunity to yell out "CHINA" before continuing...]

Me: "*cough* Well what if "said friend" was cooler than your life? What if the whole naked poodle bit was a myth? It wasn't supposed to be a retarded naked poodle!? A REAL FLIPPIN WOLF?! Whatcha gonna do now, huh?! punk?!"
Caitlin: "Well I'd bolt lock my doors. Gaaaaa! I'd leave out bad eggs for "it" to eat...

Me: "You couldn't handle it if "said friend" attacked..."said friend" would stuff those bad eggs in your ears...hmmm?!"
Caitlin: "Hmm...I would have to go join the brrrs. I could deal with that. I'd grab some silver and stab "said friend"...muahahahahahaha...!"

Me: "Spsh! Are you prejudice against "said friend"!?"
Caitlin: "Ummmm...didn't I ask the teacher to even move my seat from you? Of course I'm prejudiced."

Me: "Why?"
Caitlin: "...Because the "said friend" might KILL ME! Riddle me that! THERE! HA!"

Me: "Not when it isn't a full moon, bizzle..."said friend" just wants to be understood...*tear*"
Caitlin: "*hug* I'm sorry! I understand!"
Me: "*cough* This was supposed to be an annonymous interview...gaaaa..."

ok...well, that was my day in APUSH. uhh...besides that, nothing spectacular happened. I planned my "M" which will be lovely, of course. ^_^ Rachel, you need to plan yours out...spsh, show me the doodle! (haha, show me the money!) Carrie...hey...and Catoe...omg i fucking swere i am going to kill him. i'm not kidding...i just saw him and was instantly really pissed off. get online later, we'll talk. i'm dead serious. (you know i am too because i hardly ever cuss...o_o)

mmk...later bizzles (argh, carrie...you got me saying that -_-)

-a me-

ok ok, so no cornmaze for us. but we did go to this really nifty arcade called 'fiddlesticks' and i definitely beat catoe AND carrie at airhockey...mmhmm...anyway, we messed around with the games and stuff...carrie is now also addicted to the basketball game at fiddlesticks...which leads me to believe she has an addiction problem...

anyway, after that we were going to go to carlianas to get coffee and stuff, but alas they were closed too...so we went to the nestle cafe and got drinks and sat down outside and just talked.

~M~

after that...well...we came home. haha o_o eventful, eh?

i'm really bored and don't feel like writing more...later bizzles

-a me

well i certainly had a day. i went to symphony rehearsal and that was alright...except we sightread some really really really long and really really really dumb russian song (not the good kind of russian caitlin...the bad, nasty sounding russian)...it didn't even have a semblance of russian soundingness. it was just a bunch of random notes thrown together sloppily on a page probably by some old drunken man who didn't know what he was doing.

i got home to find out my friends and i were going out to dinner and a movie. that was cool. my life slightly went downhill from there...but i'm not in the mood to rant about it really. i already have to some people...thank goodness for them...(caitlin namely...i hope we can go hang out tomorrow if my mom doesn't throw a motherly fit about everything! haha gaaaaaaa!!)

the movie we saw was really funny...it was "a sharks tale"...lmao, sarah catoe and i had quite the time afterwards...

Random insane old crab thing: "D'you want to see my puppets?"*asks as if its a very nonchalont and normal thing to ask a person*
Puppet: "Huwwo!"

quite humorous indeed...

...did you know i was really good at hiding how i really feel about things?

morning morning all. nothing reallys changed since last night...cept now i'm a good deal more awake and such. i've found that cottoncandy doesn't quite suffice for a breakfest food item...and mixed with some Nestea with lemon...its just not quite the same as i imagine it would've been yesterday.

i've been trying to redo my message machine on my cell phone, but i can't come up with any nifty jingles or things to say for it. so it rests as being some dumb thing i can't quite remember. if anyone has any good ideas for that, do tell!

it's quite a nice day outside...i think last night i was slipping back into that horrible broodyness. but now i'm better and in a much nicer mood. i have symphony orchestra at 3...and that's always either a horrible bitch or pretty fun. here's hoping its the latter.

not much else to ramble about...later all

-a me
(ha, a nifty 'hey look at me i'm creative and artsy' way of signing my name...booyah bizzles)

wow...haven't been on here in a while. haha. i don't really feel like updating all the way to today because its been so long...but yeah...i'll probably start doing that daily crap tomorrow or something.

anyway, as for today, or these days rather...i'm just...i'm having a really hard life. someones making me so confused...well actually two people are making me utterly confused. i don't even know what i feel! like...you know on somethings you just can say,'well i like that' or 'i hate that'...but what the crap do you do when emotions fall somewhere in between the lines of verbal description and you just know that whatever it is you're feeling is strong?!

it feels like people are all changing around me. i don't know what to do! gaaaaaaaarh;lksdjaglkjasldkfj!! i just want to up and leave...college would be quite the welcome change. ><

distant differences pick my mind
and its sad, as you will find
because the old all quickly fades
and the sickly new always pervades.

-amy

eesh, we're playing a 25 minute song in orchestra that has no breaks. at all. wow. its like constant 16th notes for 25 minutes. and of course at rehearsal today we had to play it straight through 2 times...then go back and work on a bunch of spots...blaah! my back hurts bad :'(

Frank: "last year they took a roll of my best toliet paper"

Hawkeye later on: "wars no fun if you don't bomb orphans"

ahh today has been pretty nice so far. i woke up early, which i usually mind but today it was good. i actually got to take a really really long shower which is a first seeing as how showers before school and bed are usually a rushed 5-10 mins long. (and i'm sure you all care about how long my shower is normally. well you can all just piss off for all i care, i mean...you must have some interest in my person life if you're reading my damn online journal thing! o_o ha, just joshin yas...)

anyways, my mom went off to church and for once we didn't fight over my not going with her. figuring i'd be productive, i went outside and sat on our patio and worked on my homework. i didn't really have much, and what i did have was reading some stuff for english which was actually pretty interesting...then reading in our book Frankenstein. it's about 70 outside, breezy, sunny, and not a cloud in the sky.

i got a letter from my sister in new zealand (my brothers wife...*shrug*). i'm really excited cuz they're coming home soon and its always nice to have them around.

i found a few more poems i want to enter into the contest. i'm a bit too lazy at the moment to type them in here...but i will probably tonight or something.

must go get ready for philharmonic rehearsal. laters all

peace

collection of poems

i'm entering a poetry contest. these are two of the poems i might enter...along with the one i wrote about music down at the bottom there...music of life or something like that.

...Images of jellyfish,
floating past the ceiling
into the space above the world
where the stars all sleep at night...

...and that's just where a someone might
be waiting for your face again,
but you decide to play it cool
and watch a century go by...

...ah but the poor one only hopes to fly
away into a land of sweeter dreams,
and leave the black reality behind,
inside a crumbling, dusty nothingness of yesteryear...

...but gripping you is blinding fear
that the world won't turn tomorrow,
so you mumble prayers, unawares
that there's a smiling light on you.

So just hold on, wait for the rain to fall.
It will intertwine with tears,
and wash the night away.
Listen for its silent music to allay
what pains you carry.
Just step outside, don't be so wary
of the open world around.

Magnetic Raindrops attract my soul,
moulding it to a shining thing, absorbing cold
and dying strains of silver coated song.
Oh, find me a word more faithful
that this young and slippery rain,
which slides so tauntingly
across transparent pane;
Dragging along my mind with it,
my eyes with it.
Till all the world has meshed into but one.
Ah, we seek white truth,
but recieve clouded knowledge
of past raindrops soaked deep into the earth.
Although their song is solacing,
and ever constant now,
sometime they'll fade away
and it's here, I pray...
...that they don't take me with them.

enjoy ^_^

*sigh* life sucks when you aren't sure how close your friends are...but life is good when you know you have at least one to really and truely count on through anything. theres a fine line in between and i'm flirting with it...

i've been watching monk all day long. monk is such a good show...i love it.

nothing really exciting happened today. *sigh*

blah.

do do do do do

its good not to have crazy hecticness going on though. all the people that were mad at me...they aren't mad any longer...or at least i don't think so. *sigh* its hard to tell, and i still don't know what i did to make her so angry at me. blah, she even had this away message that said "the situation isn't hopeless, but the person is..." o_o;; she doesn't put that up any longer...which is good. oh well, i'm wondering if i should just not even mention it to her ever...as to keep her from getting mad at me again. i still can't help but wonder what i did though. *shrug* oh well, blahness

uwebobjeffers: dream dreams
uwebobjeffers: dance dances
free2dream44: and imagine that you can live life to the fullest every day even through the hardest of times.

I wish that was easy. I hate having people mad at me. One person I really care about is right now...and then I think I've gone off and gotten another as well. I wish life would just all fall into place, but of course it doesn't. Sometimes you just need to just let go of everything...i think i need to. Well, i can't let go of school. violin is a happy sort of stress. its just...friendship/relationship issues i'm having these days...nothings really working out. its interesting, my freshman year i had that dumb class stratagies for success. my teacher was talking one day about the different grades in highschool...about how in your freshman year, its just pretty much like middle school and you're still pretty much a kid. sophomore year you start to grow up. junior year you figure out really who you are. seinor year you know who you are...and you just...start living life. then you go off to college and the real fun begins. *sigh* i think i'm just in that really awkward stage of figuring out who the hell i am...i mean, to some people who either haven't started to really do that, or who already have might look at that statement and say,'what a weirdo...you are who you are...you're ____(insert name here)" but its not that simple. i mean, what political stand am i going to take? what are my moral convictions, honestly? its one thing to say,'i believe in God.' and its another to really mean it. I recently quit soccer, and thats a whole new ballpark, trying to figure out how i'm still going to stay active and healthy without the constant activity that doing that presents. And then school. My classes this year aren't exactly your typical easy structured classes. they take a lot of personal commitment...especially ap us history. i mean, in that i have to read all these frickin hard pages out of a college textbook thats dry and boring...and if i don't i do poorly in the class! responsibility is taken for granted until you actually feel the weight of it. and its odd how much stress that brings. i guess its not odd how insanely much that stress weighs down on your personal relationships with people. there again, i guess i'm figuring out how to juggle it all...and how to keep from pissing people off and still maintain my sanity.

*sigh* but i suppose a bit of hope through all that crap...once i'm done figuring it all out, i'm done. then i can live life and just...focus on what i want to to be happy. can't wait.
